Did you know that OATMEAL can help reduce your cholesterol and the risk of heart disease? Did you know that OATMEAL can also give you lasting energy? That’s right; there’s a whole lot of goodness in just one bowl of oatmeal…or in a dog named OATMEAL! This is “Oatmeal.” This adorable boy is a very sweet terrier mix whose size and weight are similar to an Airedale. He is approximately 2.5-3 years old and is excellent with adults, children, and dogs. With training and a proper introduction, we believe he would be fine with dog-savvy cats. Oatmeal was found with sore and bloody paws on a cold, bitter, and snowy day as he wandered into the yard of a home in Istanbul. Fortunately, he’s all better now and was the perfect patient during his week-long recovery at the vets. We believe that Oatmeal was raised in a home during his puppyhood but then dumped onto the streets because he grew to be too big. Sadly, this is a very common practice in Turkey. Oatmeal is currently being fostered in Istanbul but is eager to embrace a new life in the U.S. His foster family says he’s very smart, loves to be pampered, going for walks and rides in the car. Oatmeal is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has no known medical issues. Now, if you’re ready to get started on a heart-healthy lifestyle, please send a kind message expressing your interest. Please include details as to HOW and WHY Oatmeal would fit in with your home/lifestyle.
